On Wednesday, June 27, 2018, the ACAMS New York Chapter hosted its 4th Annual Gala Dinner at the Union League Club. The evening began with cocktail hour in the Club’s Library and was followed by a formal three-course dinner. While the event was a joyous occasion for attendees to meet industry peers, bittersweet news was announced that the Chapter Co-Chair, Peter Wild, will be resigning from his position. Peter will be moving to Charleston, South Carolina where he will continue to be engaged in ACAMS during his retirement.
The New York Chapter also welcomed Gurran Kane, Magdalena Martinez and Alex Pole as new Board Members and Sonal Bhatnagar, Keith Harding and Kelly Cooper as new Committee Members. The new members have each expressed their excitement to become more involved with serving the New York ACAMS Community.
